We all know that its essential to eat good nutrition is a foundation for overall health, vitality and a reduced risk of various health issues which can influence both our physical and mental well-being. We all know to eat more fruits and vegetables. So this year let focus on the keeping these out of our diet this year.

1. Processed Foods; These foods are highly additives, preservatives and often lack essential nutrients.

2. Sugary Beverages; Regular consumption can contribute to weight gain and increase the risk of conditions and illness.

3.Excessive Added Sugars; Limit the intake of candies, pastries, and sugary snacks, as they can lead to various health issues.

4. Trans fats; Found in some processed and fried foods, trans fats can raise bad cholesterol levels and increase the risk of heart disease.

5. Highly processed Meats; Reduce consumption of processed meats like sausages and hot dogs, which may contain additives and preservatives.

6. Sodium/Salt; Excessive salt intake can contribute to high blood pressure and other health problems. Limit processed and salty foods.

7. Saturated Fats; While some saturated fats are okay in moderation, limit sources like fatty cuts of meat, full-fat dairy, and certain oils.

8. Artificial Sweeteners; Some people may react negatively to artificial sweeteners, so it’s advisable to use them in moderation.

9. Alcohol abuse; Excessive alcohol consumption can have negative health effects, including liver damage and increased risk of accidents.

10. Fast food: Often in unhealthy fats, sodium, and calories, fast food can contribute to weight gain and other health issues.

Remember this if it taste good it probably not good for you. If you aren’t really enjoying it then its good for you. lol We all want to eat these delicious foods and so try this year to take one day a week to eat these foods. Like choose a Saturday or Sunday these days start with S so i consider them as snack days. Pick one and enjoy your day with these delicious food. Once a week is better then 3 or 4 times a week.
